Discover the YT28 Air-Leg Rock Drill, a pinnacle of innovation in high-efficiency, energy-conserving, and environmentally conscious rock drilling technology. This distinguished tool truly excels among pneumatic solutions with its impressively low failure rate, swift rock penetration capabilities, and durable wear components that promise a prolonged service life. Moreover, the YT28 is designed with minimal noise output, a lightweight build, and intuitive, user-friendly controls to enhance your work experience.
1. The YT28 is a masterpiece of engineering, designed with a moderate height and an extensive stroke range. This allows it to expertly drill anchor holes that are perfectly perpendicular to the roof surface. By addressing the common issue of non-perpendicular anchor holes in roadways, it elevates project quality, accelerates progress, reduces construction costs, and significantly boosts efficiency.
2. With outstanding rock drilling prowess, the YT28 excels at making precise drills in medium-hard rocks and rocks with a hardness coefficient up to f≤6. Its exceptional versatility makes it the go-to solution for rock roadways and quasi-roadways alike.
3. Featuring a streamlined and simplified structure, the YT28 stands out for its durability and ease of maintenance, translating into significantly lower maintenance costs.
4. The YT28 boasts a flexible start mechanism, coupled with air-water linkage, rapid air-leg return, and sophisticated air pressure adjustment systems. These features work in harmony to ensure peak operational efficiency.
5. Innovatively designed, the control handle is seamlessly integrated with the shank body, offering a novel and user-friendly operation. The efficient muffler cover reduces noise effectively and offers directional exhaust adjustment, greatly enhancing working conditions on the field.
6. Perfectly suited for wet drilling, the YT28 Rock Drill performs exceptionally well in medium to hard rock environments.
Application Areas:
This versatile tool is indispensable across various sectors, including mining, transportation, tunnel construction, water conservancy projects, quarries, and an array of other construction works, making it a critical asset for any project.

Before Using the YT28 Pneumatic Air Leg Rock Drills
1. Prioritize the inspection of each component's integrity and rotation—be it the rock drill itself, the accompanying bracket, or the rock drill cart—before embarking on any drilling activity. Ensure to lubricate all necessary parts thoroughly, while confirming the wind and water pathways are clear and connections are steadfast.
2. Vigilantly examine the roof near the working face for any live or loose rocks, undertaking essential measures to secure a safe working environment.
3. Prepare the shell hole location with precision by leveling the working surface beforehand, thus preventing any slippage or unwanted displacement of the shell hole.
4. Avoid the peril of dry hole drilling entirely. Adhere to the practice of wet rock drilling—initiate the water flow first, followed by the wind when drilling, and reverse the process when stopping. Commence drilling at a low speed, progressively reaching full speed upon achieving a suitable depth.
5. To mitigate safety risks, drillers are advised against wearing gloves while operating the equipment.
6. When utilizing the air leg for drilling, maintain mindful attention to your posture and position. Refrain from using bodily pressure and never stand directly in front of the rock drill to avoid injuries from broken brazing.
7. Should any unusual noises or water discharges occur during drilling, halt the machine immediately for a comprehensive inspection. Diagnose and rectify the problem prior to resuming operations.
8. In the process of retracting the rock drill or replacing the brazing rod, execute these actions with caution and attentiveness to the brazing rod's position.
